Yes — the Barista Class is HRD Corp claimable for registered employers in Malaysia. Train your café or F&B team at near-zero net cost through your HRDF levy. JWC Academy provides the invoice + attendance and guides your HR team through the application.

How long is the HRDF-claimable Barista Class?

Course duration depends on your team’s needs — from a focused 1-day intensive to multi-day programmes. Topics include espresso, brewing, milk steaming and latte art. Real machines, small groups, hands-on practice from day one.

Where is the HRDF Barista Class held?

Do I need barista experience to join?

No prior experience needed. The class is designed beginner-first, but adapts to your team’s skill level. Most students start with zero coffee experience and finish making café-grade drinks.

Our faculty includes Jason Loo (World Barista Championship 4th place), Foong & Nelson (World Coffee Championship judges), and other award-winning trainers. JWC Academy has trained 300+ baristas since 2009.
