“We chose JWC Academy because the trainers compete at world level. That’s the standard we want for our team. The HRDF process was guided from start to finish, and our baristas walked away with menu-ready skills.”

So glad I had fun in the barista class. Will pass kind words to teacher Logman and teacher Syabil. Keep practising your new skill, and feel free to visit anytime!

The trainers really know their craft. Jason and Foong don’t just teach — they pull shots and judge competitions. You feel the difference in every detail.

Sent four of our café staff for HRDF barista training. Latte consistency improved within a week. The whole HRD Corp claim was straightforward, with documentation handled for us.

Best decision for my café’s opening team. The trainers customised the curriculum to our menu and our espresso setup. Our staff walked out confident on day one.
The HRDF Process
How the claim works, in four steps.
HRD Corp’s SBL Khas scheme reimburses your training cost from the levy your company is already paying. Most cafés and F&B operators are sitting on an unused balance.

Avoid These Mistakes
Five mistakes that kill your claim.
- Applying AFTER training starts. HRD Corp requires the grant before day one. The single most common reason claims get rejected.
- Picking an unregistered trainer. Always verify HRD Corp registration. If your provider is not registered, the claim is blocked, period.
- Skipping documentation. Attendance, certificates, photo evidence — all required for reimbursement. We handle this for you.
- Letting your levy balance expire. Unused HRDF levy does not roll forever. Use it or lose it.
- Defaulting to generic curriculum. Tell us your bestsellers, your weak points, your menu. We customise the curriculum for every group.

Yes — for groups of 8 or more pax, we conduct training at your venue with the equipment you actually use. For smaller groups, we host you at our KL Bukit Jalil or JB Mount Austin campus.
What is the minimum group size?
Minimum 6 pax for HRDF group training. On-site delivery available for 8 pax or more. Custom curriculum included from 6 pax onward — we adapt to your menu and your weak points.
Which courses are HRD Corp claimable?
Barista & Latte Art, Bartending & Cocktail, Mocktail & Tea Drinks, Sourdough, Croissant, Creative Media Foundation, Advanced Creative Strategy. The 12-month BMART diploma is not HRDF-claimable.

Yes. For all groups of 6 or more we tailor the curriculum to your bestsellers, your equipment, and your team’s weak points.
