1-Day Trial vs Full Course: Which Fits You

“Should I just book the full course?” — the most-asked question we get. The answer depends on you. Start with three questions.

Question 1 — Try it out, or seriously enter?

  • Just curious / exploring → 1-Day Trial (RM 100–199 per person, 3 hours)
  • Already seriously committed / changing careers → Full Course (2 months or more)

The 1-day is designed to help you decide “do I enjoy this?” — not to make you a professional.

Question 2 — How much time do you have?

  • Full-time job → Weekend Course (2 months, Saturdays only)
  • Doing a career change → 9-Month W&S (work-and-study)

Enrolling in a full-time course without genuinely full-time availability tends to waste both your money and your effort.

Question 3 — How far do you want to go?

  • Building skills for home enjoyment (home bar / home café) → Weekend course is sufficient
  • Entering the industry professionally → W&S with real-floor practice is essential

The honest recommendation

If you’re hesitating, book the 1-Day Trial first. Three hours and you’ll know:

  • Do I enjoy doing this with my hands?
  • Does the instructor’s style work for me?
  • Does the campus atmosphere feel right?

Treat RM 100–199 as your “decision cost” — far cheaper than committing RM 3,000+ to a full course and regretting it later.

Trial students who go on to enrol in the full course typically get a credit or alumni discount.

Pitfalls to avoid

  • Don’t enrol just because your friend did — they’re not you.
  • “A long course makes me look serious” — what you learn makes you serious, not the duration.
  • “1-day is too shallow” — 1-day is for exploration, not graduation. Different purposes.
