Latte、Cappuccino、Flat White 到底差在哪

先给答案意式奶咖听着一堆名字,其实全是同一个公式一份浓缩 + 不同比例的蒸奶和奶泡。从奶少到奶多:Espresso(纯浓缩)→ Macchiato(浓缩 + 一勺奶泡)→ Flat White(浓缩 + 蒸奶 + 薄微奶泡,小而浓)→ Cappuccino(浓缩 / 奶 / 泡 各三分之一,泡最厚)→ Latte(浓缩 + 大量蒸奶 + 薄泡,最柔)→ Mocha(Latte + 巧克力)。看懂比例,点单再也不懵。

意式奶咖

其实只有一个公式

别被名字唬住。所有意式奶咖,拆开都是三层:底部一份浓缩(espresso)、中间蒸奶(steamed milk)、顶上奶泡(foam)。改变这三者的比例和杯子大小,就得到不同的饮品。奶越少越浓烈、奶越多越柔和;奶泡越厚越蓬松。

逐杯拆解

Espresso:一份纯浓缩,最浓最烈,是一切的基础。Macchiato(意式):浓缩上「点」一勺奶泡,还是很浓、带一点奶香。Flat White:浓缩配足量蒸奶、只留一层薄薄的微奶泡,杯子小、奶香又够浓Cappuccino:浓缩、蒸奶、奶泡差不多各三分之一,奶泡厚、口感蓬松Latte:浓缩加大量蒸奶、薄薄一层泡,最柔、奶感最重,也最适合拉花。Mocha:其实就是 Latte 加巧克力,甜。

最常被搞混的三杯

Flat White vs Latte:都是浓缩 + 蒸奶 + 薄泡,但 Flat White 更小更浓(咖啡比例高),Latte 更大更柔Cappuccino vs Latte:Cappuccino 奶泡厚、更蓬松;Latte 泡薄、更顺滑Macchiato:传统意式是「浓缩点奶泡」=很浓,别和连锁店那种「焦糖玛奇朵」(其实是加料拿铁)搞混。

常见问题

Latte 和 Flat White 差在哪?

都是浓缩 + 蒸奶 + 薄微奶泡,但 Flat White 更小更浓(咖啡比例高),Latte 更大、奶更多、更柔。

Cappuccino 和 Latte 差在哪?

Cappuccino 奶泡厚、约各三分之一,口感蓬松平衡;Latte 蒸奶多、奶泡薄,更顺滑奶感重。

Macchiato 是奶咖吗?

传统意式 Macchiato 主要是浓缩、只点一小勺奶泡,其实很浓、不算奶咖。连锁店的「玛奇朵」多是加料拿铁,是另一回事。

想喝黑咖啡该点什么?

点 Americano(浓缩 + 热水),或直接浓缩 Espresso;手冲则属于滤泡黑咖啡。

Answer firstEspresso milk drinks sound like a long list, but they’re all one formula: a shot of espresso plus different ratios of steamed milk and foam. Least to most milk: Espresso (just espresso) → Macchiato (espresso + a dollop of foam) → Flat White (espresso + steamed milk + thin microfoam, small and strong) → Cappuccino (roughly equal thirds, thick foam) → Latte (espresso + lots of steamed milk + thin foam, softest) → Mocha (latte + chocolate). Read the ratios and you’ll never be lost ordering again.

It’s really one formula

Don’t let the names fool you. Every espresso milk drink is three layers: a shot of espresso at the bottom, steamed milk in the middle, foam on top. Change the ratio and cup size and you get a different drink. Less milk is stronger, more milk is softer; thicker foam is airier.

Drink by drink

Espresso: a single shot, strongest, the base of everything. Macchiato (espresso macchiato): espresso “marked” with a dollop of foam, still strong with a hint of milk. Flat White: espresso with plenty of steamed milk and only a thin microfoam, in a small cup, milky yet strong. Cappuccino: espresso, steamed milk and foam in roughly equal thirds, thick foam, airy. Latte: espresso with lots of steamed milk and a thin foam, softest and milkiest, and best for latte art. Mocha: basically a latte with chocolate, sweet.

The three most confused

Flat white vs latte: both are espresso + steamed milk + thin foam, but a flat white is smaller and stronger (higher coffee ratio) and a latte is bigger and softer. Cappuccino vs latte: a cappuccino has thick, airy foam; a latte has thin foam, smoother. Macchiato: the traditional espresso macchiato is “espresso marked with foam”, i.e. strong. Don’t confuse it with a chain’s “caramel macchiato”, which is really a flavoured latte.

FAQ

Latte vs flat white?

Both are espresso + steamed milk + thin microfoam, but a flat white is smaller and stronger (higher coffee ratio), a latte is bigger, milkier and softer.

Cappuccino vs latte?

A cappuccino has thick foam and roughly equal thirds, so it’s airier and balanced; a latte has more milk and thin foam, so it’s smoother and milkier.

Is a macchiato a milky coffee?

A traditional espresso macchiato is mostly espresso with a small dollop of foam, so it’s strong, not milky. A chain “macchiato” is usually a flavoured latte.

What should I order for black coffee?

An Americano (espresso + hot water) or a straight espresso; pour-over is filter black coffee.
