A three-hour workshop gets you the first; the second needs a machine you can repeat on, which the full coffee course provides. 为什么在家练不起来Why home practice stalls
拉花的前提是一杯有光泽、可流动的微泡奶。家用蒸汽棒压力通常不足，打出来的奶泡偏粗，图案浮不上表面 —— 这时你练的不是拉花，是在跟奶泡搏斗。摩卡壶与手压机同理：没有合格的奶，后面三个动作都无从谈起。Latte art starts with glossy, fluid microfoam. Most home steam wands lack the pressure, so the foam is coarse and the pattern never floats — at that point you are not practising latte art, you are fighting the milk. The same applies to moka pots and manual machines: without proper milk, none of the three pouring movements matter.
这也是「人手一台机」不是噱头的原因：拉花是手感活，看别人倒学不会，你需要在同一个时段里反覆倒很多杯。This is why one machine per student is not a marketing line: latte art is a motor skill. Watching someone else pour will not build it — you need many repetitions in the same session.

Rosettas and tulips need far more repetitions, usually on a machine you can keep practising on. If you want consistency rather than one good cup, the full coffee course beats a single workshop.
在家用摩卡壶或手压机能练吗？Can I practise at home with a moka pot or manual machine?
